Running from October 30 to November 1, this year's experience promises an enhanced theatrical journey through the British cultural landscape with a creative new twist.

Reimagined Entertainment Experience

Mike Kelly, chair of East Lancashire Railway, shares his enthusiasm: "I'm thrilled to announce the return of our Halloween Ghost Trains. This year's rides promise a creative twist, with eerie encounters and chilling tales guaranteed to get your heart racing."

The theatrical experience features Dr Hurtz Von Driver, a monster hunter who guides passengers through an immersive journey, much like the quintessentially British storytelling tradition that has long captivated audiences.

Interactive Performance Elements

  • Encounter Count Brian the Vampire
  • Dance with Vampire Veronica and the Groovy Ghoulies
  • Join the monster squad after proving your bravery

The event joins a growing roster of British entertainment spectacles designed to engage families through immersive experiences. The trains feature themed decorations and props, complemented by an on-board Halloween BBQ service.

Tickets for this unique heritage railway experience start from £14 and can be purchased through the ELR website. Early booking is recommended as previous years have seen significant demand for this popular seasonal attraction.

"Get your tickets now and guarantee yourself an unforgettable night for all the family," urges an ELR spokesperson.
